FREDERIQUE CONSTANT IS PROUD TO SUPPORT EDUCATORS NATIONWIDE ON TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK FOR THE 7TH YEAR IN A ROW

April 26th, 2022 (New York, NY) – In recognition of the ongoing difficult years teachers have been experiencing, Frederique Constant is thrilled to offer their continued support to the education nonprofit, DonorsChoose.
To date, the watch manufacturer has donated over $250,000 to DonorsChoose since the partnership began in 2016 and has no plans of slowing down given the challenges educators have been facing. Starting May 3rd, Frederique Constant is pledging $25,000 in donations in partnership with 10 retailers nationwide. Each retailer will have the opportunity to support their local community by awarding the teachers and schools of their choosing.
Participating retailers are: Bernie Robbins, Diamond Cellars, E.D. Marshall Jewelers, Juhas and Sullivan, K&Co Family Jewelers, Lux Bond & Green, Craig Husar Fine Diamonds, MP Demetre, Paul's Jewelry and Smith and Bevill.
With students and teachers still adjusting back to classroom settings, Frederique Constant believes that supporting school systems is one of the most important initiatives today nationwide. Working to fulfill the needs for updated technology in the classroom, basic learning supplies, and personal protective equipment, moves us closer to a nation where students in every community have the tools and experiences they need for a great education.
DonorsChoose empowers public school teachers to request resources for classroom projects and programs that are not included in their regular budget. Founded in 2000 by a Bronx high school teacher named Charles Best, the nonprofit organization has since supported over 2 million classroom project requests ranging from butterfly cocoons to robotic kits, new books for classrooms, and much more.
Carla Wilke, Chief Marketing Officer of Citizen Watch America, shared:
“Frederique Constant is proud to support DonorsChoose for the 7th year in a row. Educators and students nationwide have faced tremendous challenges since the pandemic and we are thrilled to continue supporting an organization that empowers public school teachers.”
Alix Guerrier, CEO of DonorsChoose, said:
“Frederique Constant is empowering public school teachers through their DonorsChoose projects. Their continued support this Teacher Appreciation Week will add even more to classroom experiences, place extra supplies into the hands of students, and enrich the education of students across the country.”
